They changed a new phone to me on Dec 12. So not only the motherboard. That was 5-weeks after I purchased the phone and with minor scratch on my phone, they just change it. So you can tell they know the problem is not with the case phone, but with the case.

I did not ask for a perfect phone, I asked them to give me a phone they promised to deliver. That is, in their web site, it said multi-tasking, multi-connectivity, I called customer service, they said it is OK to play MP3 while browsing. After all these information, I purchased the phone. Now they cannot deliver what they promised, I want my money back.

I also asked them, if they write me an instruction, how to use the phone without 'memory full' problem, then I will take it. Or tell me the maxinum number of programs I can run at the same time (actually one program can kill the phone), or tell me every 4-hours I need to power-off-power-on the phone to avoid 'memory full' problem, then I will follow their insturction.

In the end, they decided to give me back my money, that tells something. You can try to tell them to give you money back for your phone, they will tell you read the warranty instruction, they will fix your problem,... Dont think that it was one demanding customer and they are willing to refund. What about the other xxx number of E70 customers in Hong Kong all of a sudden decided to buy a new phone and create problem with Nokia? You think Nokia will give you a new phone, if they dont think they have a bigger liability if they dont do it.

the firmware of the phone didn't upgrade, one thing is truth is something are better than b4
1) restart problem reduce
2) the reaction of the phone is faster than b4
3) switch on the phone is faster than b4

but have the folowing problem appear:
1) connection problem btw PC and the phone
2) also have restart problem
3) when i browsing internet with WIFI, it always said not enough memory!?

maybe i can say, no mobile phone in the world is perfect.....

** maybe i need to use PDA phone is the best choice...... **
** and refer to xu_ma, they just spend 1 hr to change the motherboard, and i haven't Cangjie input.... **

Well, they actually changed the the phone for me, the phone has Cangjie input on the keyboard, but no software support. That new phone, I have it for two days and returned. Then I told Nokia that I did not work for them, to test their new phone. Just give me a working phone, or else full refund. Now I am waiting for the refund check.

If you dont like the E70, insisted that they fix your problem, or else for every new phone/new board they give you, if same problem presists, just return it. I also complaint to Consumer Council.

That's strange that the problem persists even after the motherboard is changed, terrible service.

BTW, I read from a Hong Kong forum in which there is a member who said that when Nokia changed the motherboard for him, Nokia also upgraded the firmware and so he has the Cangjie input method!

They refund my E70, the spare battery and the 3-years warranty I purchased from Fortress. They admitted that firmware 2.0 or higher for E70 will not be available in the near future.

However, they need 4-weeks to prepare the refund check! I got a new Sonyericsson already.
